A domino's success story

New River Valley Pizza LLC. was founded in 2002 by our Franchisee, Kevin Shaw. It consisted of our 3 original stores in Southwest Virginia - Christiansburg, Blacksburg, and Radford. These were stores that no one wanted, but Kevin saw potential - with his passion and ingenuity, he built an award winning team, and grew New River Valley Pizza to what is today! New River Valley Pizza now consists of 17 stores across Virginia! We have locations in Roanoke, Vinton, Christiansburg, Blacksburg, Radford, Pulaski, Dublin, Wytheville, Galax, Marion, Pearisburg, Bluefield, and Princeton, WV.

New River Valley Pizza's Leadership Team is comprised of a diverse group of people - all dedicated to the success of New River Valley Pizza, and each and every Team Member we employ. Thier job is to coach, guide, mentor, and lead New River Valley Pizza into the future!

Ryan duck

Area Supervisor - NRV

Ryan joined New River Valley Pizza in 2017 as an Assistant Manager in our Roanoke region - Ryan's passion and drive make him an integral part of New River Valley Pizza! Ryan was the General Manager of several locations during his tenure - 8093 in Vinton, 8495 in Roanoke, 4282 in Roanoke, and finally 4292 in Christiansburg - prior to becoming an Area Supervisor. Ryan has successfully supervised 2 of our 3 regions, and has coached numerous GM's to operational success! 

Rachel Hurley

Area Supervisor - West

Rachel joined New River Valley Pizza in 2018 as an Assistant Manager at our Princeton, WV location. Rachel's infectious energy and dedication to the team propelled her quickly through the management program. She has earned many distinctions in her time with us, including GM of 1336 in Princeton, WV and 4295 in Wytheville, VA. Rachel was named NRVP's "GM of the Year" in 2019, and was the first GM to run a sub 18min average delivery time for an entire week during her time in Wytheville. She is currently the Area Supervisor of our West Region, and aspires to be a franchisee!

Blake Harris

Area Supervisor - Roanoke

Blake joined the brand as a Delivery Driver in 2016 in his hometown of Suffolk, VA. 

Keith Mungo

Director of Ops Support and Administration

Keith joined the Domino's brand in 1989 in Newport News, VA. When Kevin decided to start New River Valley Pizza  - Keith was one of the first team members on the roster! Keith has held numerous positions throughout his tenure at New River Valley Pizza - Keith was the first in our franchise to complete Domino's prestigious "Rolex Challenge". Keith has lead store operations, and now supports our Operations Team with his vast knowledge and experience!

Lindsay Shaw

Vice President

Lindsay joined New River Valley Pizza in 2009 as a CSR. She attended James Madison University, earning her degree in Studio Art and Art History - and decided to remain in Southwest Virginia to pursue a career with New River Valley Pizza. Lindsay was the General Manager of several locations, 4281 in Roanoke, 8495 in Roanoke, and finally 4270 in Christiansburg. At 8495 and 4270 she helped lead the team that opened those store locations. She was named New River Valley Pizza's "GM of the Year" in 2018. Lindsay also served as the Director of People First and Training prior to becoming Vice President.

Core Values

New River Valley Pizza established it's Core Values in 2015 - motivated by a desire to identify what NRVP stands for. Kevin and Allison wanted NRVP to have a strong foundation for years to come, and the Core Values have truly been that foundation.
